File -
139 after the Name Change  - name in prentices was added

This is the way it was.
Files disappeared when the name was changed.  When you know how to find the old name you bring up the one missing. I was preparing this to bring before the board but did not not last that long. I am Back.
This a email that I sent DarlAnn on April 23  2007 when trying to explain how this Name Change affects our computer files.  It is very similar to the one I sent to Adam at PastPerfect. It was in response to a e-mail she sent me which is next down.
This is the e-mail that DarlAnn sent me when when saw the files we had been entering  and the ones we were interring was missing the next time I looked. Do  I know who deleted these, No.  Do I have a idea who did.  Yes.
This is the Global file and all items are here by number  so ever thing in the computer is here and can be lined up by any one of the three columns. I you know where to find them.  I was trying to shod this to Dean and he was wanting to tell me I was a bully for writing every thing down. DarlAnn writes  about standardizing,  She did not see this and these short ones were all added to and what she called Standardized.  All these short one lost there Authority Location and that means their Barcode Location also.  The ones at the top were standardized but made too long and difficult to search.
This is what the file looks like after the short one have been removed and then there is look of gone when they all were removed. Very Standardized and very uniform.  If you open up the Global files as above you see the one that got orphaned as it is referred to in the PastPerfect.
This is a Database I made from the file above, If I remember correctly Diane typed it up as my fingers are artic and swell when I use the very much.  I may have did one myself..  The names are in line and you use the number. I was finding  photos this way for John Vorhes until the Home Authority was removed.  (Deleted) Then it was very diffiult.
Another problem was the scanning of photos too large

We had many unattached photos and they were all too big of scanned in at too high a resolution and instead of putting them in trash Can --(Blue Arrow)  If you use the red X they stay on the computer. The picture above is about four time the size it needs to be.   This was  made instruct the ones doing the work. I believe some of  the help learned this.
After this e-mail I went to the Museum and took a look at the Authority  files and they were all gone. I told Anita about this and she could not believe this. She thought it was an accident.  They have to be taken off one at a time. The  button is called "Delete"   not removed and it only takes off one at a time.
This is just a sample. That is all I had to say on this --    Return email to DarlAnn
When we were talking to Jennessa Reed we were told about our search problems as one ways the first word search and we have in description Documents, Letters, and ??? what.
