There are
two trails in Home Township one to the upper left is the Trail to
Ohio City, I do not know what that refers to, it may be a community
that inaugurated from Ohio and later preferred a different name. The trail to
right is the road labeled, "Road from Manhattan to Richmond"
Richmond was two miles north of where Seneca is today.
Ohio City would be to the west of
Nemaha County. This could be settlers from Ohio.
and so named the area for a time.
