As you go through this ask yourself this question:
 Do you think it could be called the  "The Cover-up?"

  

After I was voted off the board I saw an  attorney because this had nothing to do with  facts.  This Attorney  requested the items pertaining to my removal be sent to him.  I did not pay much attention to this for some time. I more or less left it up to my attorney to take care of this. I was sure it was no  big deal as the charges were more like a note from the principal that I did not obey.  My Attorney said that it would be cheaper to buy a Museum than to take this to court.  Seems every one wants to sweep this under the rug and let this go on. Sweep everything and me under the rug.

I had no idea how much I had and what its meaning was, once I started through this.  Living in Seneca in the past did not alert me to such trash possibilities.  Most people tell it as it is,  but  there has been some far out things going about lately. I  was spending  all my time trying to keep the software running in spite of  disruptions.  

Did you keep the  Annual Report 2006-2007? -- Keep it and save it.   It takes some freak thing like this to make things  valuable. --

  When the Annual Report appeared amount as one  the things that was sent to my Attorney it surprised me.  I was not sure where the problems were

 This is very good proof of what the problem is when one sheet of a report is missing and one takes it's place. .  The  Annual Report of 2006 2007  mailed to me is not the same in 2007 is not the same    There were three items that were different and when a person starts to rewrite the past it time to get them out the Historical Society.  

There are three paragraph in that report below that seemed to have a problem.

The question is "Why were these three paragraphs removed from the new document? see links at bottom of page

The last three paragraphs did not pass the test,   This  "Priority Report" immediately below and the items missing have ties to the thing that disturbed me the most.   These items were on my priorities  list to fix, but not this way.

The  first being   Millie Stallbaumer Memorial Fund.   See Information
This was  the Mother of our  five Children. $1000.00 dollars was donated as a memorial to her.
There was a disagreement on how the money we donated in honor of my wife and was to be spent. I never even had a chance to use them before I was removed from the board.    Under false charges.    This was more then a  problem.

The second is   Settling Nemaha County  See Information
This project was started and a grant received  for a definite project. as outlined in the grant.  The GRANT  the Grant was for $3,500.00 and the plans were not followed.  See minutes
Why was it was this cut from the Report? I was collecting Computer snapshots from the computer files to prove something I had previously brought before the NCHS Board. The files were being corrupted by computer errors.  With some 30 years of experience with computer and seeing what was being done one did not need to go to PastPerfect school to learn this was not right.  I had experience with Databases and this program was no more than a collection of databases and categories (Authority Files as they are know in PastPerfect software)

Knowing how to test what you do in small amounts will save you much trouble. The total of each item as Objects, photos, archive and books never changed from the time the computer  crashed to the day the annual  report was made. I wanted to show DarlAnn and later Dean the mess it was in but they did not want to see or talk about this.

The third  is  The Heritage Trust Fund Grand  
This was to have been for the study and repair the Porch on the old Jail Building. The third  items I did not agree with  the way it wad handled. As I look back I should have been more forceful.  Banged the table and shouted. The world should  not like that and some things need to be know so they can be stopped.  No one  wanted to  even talk about these thing that nearly eaten me up.    I figured I have time yet  to correct this.  See the $31,000.00 Book

I am charged with not  going with the board decision.  I can not go along with illegal things. I can not go along with Cover-up and that is what Mr. O'Keefe has done.  I can not go along with spending $31,000.00 on a book when the money was received to repair the porch.   I can not take $3,500 for "The settling of Nemaha County, and then subtitling  Strathman Negative and Marriage Vouchers for what was outline in the Grant Request.  See E-mail Minutes

Does Mr. O'Keefe know that he was trying to cover-up.  I very much doubt it he was told all the details.

Changing  historical records is  not consistent with what we are expected to do in a Historical Society. When we change a record it is a false record. Perhaps those who did not grow up here only care how they appear  in print.  I would like to see the truth.  

The big problem is ---  I am  not a Yes   Person.
