| It had been the
policy to let the family make the decision on how it
would be spent. I talked it over with the family and
wanted a digital camera and DVD/player and projector.
(the projects what is on the computer to a
six by four foot screen or wall and is great for
showing photos or teaching) The family agreed to make a donation to the
Historical Society the amount of $1,000.00
I wanted to teach others to use the computer on the
PastPerfect program and teach them to do WebPages.
This should be near to the money needed to purchase the
this equipment and I would make up the difference.
How the money was to be spent seems to have
changed as now is is a decision of Executive Board.
Taken from
the Feb 2007 minutes.
Ken Stallbaumer
designated Millie’s Memorial fund to purchase a digital
movie camera, microphone, video and editing equipment for
the museum. The equipment would be used to film the museum
displays for virtual touring by television without climbing
stairs. Promotional work for Heritage Days would also be
filmed. The Board of Directors approved the
recommendation. Dean Rial and James Copeland were appointed
to purchase the appropriate equipment.
Take note there is no mention of the PastPerfect "Virtual
Exhibit software which was purchased.

I did not understand the e-mail below as it
did not make any sense to me. I do not think
I answered it because of that reason.
The bit about the laptop is a bit confusing
as I have my own laptop and have taken it to
the NCHS often. I had taken it with my
portable scanner and use it at the County
office and City office also took it twice to
Onega to scan school photos for the NCHS.
Later when I received an e-mail telling me that
the Executive Board had made the decision to
purchase a computer with the memorial
money it may have made except the money
was gone. It almost sound
like this is my desire was a Desktop
Computer which I was not. Was this
E-mail used to to convince someone of the
board I had decide on a Desk Top
Computer. This was really of no purpose as
the memorial money was gone. |

Below we see the cost list of the "Virtual Exhibit Version"
for a total of $749.00 and the computer no Projector on the
list. I had purchased the projector at a cost of $560.00
however the money is spent so I never delivered the projector to the
NCHS as I would not be reimbursed. The money was indeed gone.

Attention
At the May 8, 2007 meeting
Dean Rial had a Camera with him. I assumed it was likely
the one he had purchased from Part of my wife's
$1000.00 Memorial. Dean Rial had been assigned to
purchase this camera and he had a box on the table and
removed a camera during the meeting. I tried not to
take notice of the camera display as I had some snapshots of
the files that had been deleted and intended to try again to
percent this to the board as I had done before and failed. The
meeting ended and Dean put the Camera back into the box and took
it home with him.
What This was all
about? I had told DarlAnn that I intended
to bring these file problem to the board
attention if we could not work it out.
We had not worked any thing out as to present this
information to the board. I had my brief case with
photos of the files, error reports and problem
with name change of Authority Files. I was
looking at my notes and other report from time to time. I had
present this to the board before without any
documentation and it failed
because Dean and DarlAnn spoke against everything I
presented. At that time Dean drew on a shingle
sheet of paper how to attach the unattached photos.
They needed to be deleted but Dean stated they
needed to be re-attached.
One of the charges was I had a briefcase and it was
threatening and it was that indeed as the were
trying to cover up this this file deletion and name
change other problems of the computer.
Was taking the hard drive out and getting me off the
board going to solve this?
What should I do
to prove the camera was there?.
I waited several days
and then sent the following e-mail to both the
President Anita Heiman and and the Secretary, DarlAnn Rial.
A Snapshot of the e-mail sent is below.
..
| Anita Heiman never answered the e-mail, however,
DarlAnn sent the e-mail below tells
the story that it was indeed at the meeting.
It states that it will be presented at the annual meeting.
I was at this meeting and did not see this happen and I do try and pay attention.
Do you think I could have missed this.

After Mr. O'Keefe and
Dean Rial did their deed and had me
removed from the Board by going into executive
session and then voting me off with out a chance
of to reply of hear who made the charges. The
charges
were child like complaints that I did not obey
the chairman.
I sought help from
an attorney, and he requested
document preparing to my being voted off
the board.
They did not have much to submit, but one
thing was a surprise. The Annual Report of 2006 2007 report
which was a five page report and one page was
new from when I was on the board. See below.
This was the one. I had never seen
while on the board. Was this specially prepared
for the occasion?
Click on Paragraph below to see the total story
of the switch unless you have been there.

Click on the above paragraph snapshot to see
total Annual Report with the amended sheet.
I though I knew how to
keep books. we had spent $1197.00 and now
add a computer and and it is only $1060.00.
I need a NEW CALCULATOR. |
