To the right is an e-mail I
received from this this friend Don Holthaus who was coming to
Seneca before he visited the last time Don wanted to donate some of his
collection to the NCHS. He had donated items before and he wanted to know
if I had the equipment to load his photos and family records - DarlAnn states in her News Letter "Mister Holthaus offers the financial bonus to the Nemaha County Historical Society to sell photos from the files at 35 cents." See e-Mail Side link Later I visited with Don and found out
DarlAnn Rile had come to where he was staying and picked up the same files
and he had a story about a law suit. He said she had warned him of a
lawsuit. He said we ought to get this settled. I told him this was story
they were telling to discredit me. Dean is to have alleged that I
threatened him with a law suit as I had talked to Dean about the so
called "Executive Board" and the many decision they make. I was being asked
to take part in some of these decisions and I did not like leaving the board
out of these decisions. When Dean and DarlAnn discovered that I was collecting Computer Snapshots of files in the computer and told him I was keeping records of what was being done at that time, he said he considered this a threat also. The fact that the Special Meeting to vote me off the board was a sever shock. The fact that they voted me out without giving me a chance to defend myself was even worse. No one could believe this could happen to me. It was not until I started going through
my large of file of the NCHS and my e-mail that I came to full understanding
what this was about. I have a large file of e-mail with
most of all the e-mail I received and sent in connection with the NCHS.
All e-mail on the NCHS at the Museum computer were not kept, but
deleted. I did not like this and tried to get this changed with no luck.
Is this why the "Executive Board" removed the Hard Drive? Operating with the board in the dark led to this disaster. Nemaha County Historical Society should have all e-mail on file that pertains to the organization and printed for all members to read. . ( Use your backspace key to return to previous page)
