A copy from the NCHS News
Letter
The NCHS News Letter carried the article above after I
was voted off the board. Did getting me off the board make it
safe to print this story? Could this be one of the things that
bothers the so called "Executive Board"? The book is in the
Safety Deposit box if I read the minutes correctly. Why I do not
know, . May see by clicking on this

It was not until I saw this News letter
whitewash of the grant and spending that I was sure there was a cover-up of
this expenditure. For me to be on the board and let this happen is very
difficult. Why was I the only one that showed up at the opening of bids?
I remember DarlAnn
saying that no one need attend as she and Dean would take care of this.
No one attend this meeting other than DarlAnn and Dean Rial and myself.
The Nemaha County Historical Society uses tax money in the
form of grants and because of this they are governed by the Kansas Open Meeting law.
How much more is being hidden?
There are many questions that need to be asked.
Why did we need a $31,000.00 book that will cost us over a million
to complete what is detailed in this book?
There is no possibility that anyone would spend this kind of money now or in the future on this
building. We should have been advised when we took this project on that it
would be a very high price project. This was never mentioned that it
was to cost more than 80 k.
Then I received an e-mail that it was reduced to 60k

Items in red have been added to page later.
Information is hard to come by so let me know it there is thing to be added.
Our history is not all a garden of roses and sunshine.
You may see the files that will print the $31,000,00
Book that is kept in the Safe Deposit Box -- Why is is kept in the Safety
Deposit Box ? Some will say I should have done this different.
This seemed to be a plan or system of getting you to do the some
thing wrong so you would be tied in to the cover-up. I tried to get the
County Attorney to take a look at this when the computer was taken over. More
on that later. See Minutes of
Executive Board
Added in 2010. The NCHS Board has the book now. This happed since I put this
on the web page. Was told they had 40 years to complete the project.
Are the new board members committed to this? Some do not have 40 years
left.
Read the story of the 2006 - 2007 Priority
Report which was part of the "Annual Report of 2006-2007"
and the later Update which excluded this part about the Jail
Project.
